What Is Neuro-Peak?

Good mental performance is a priority for everyone, which requires a clear, focused and energized mind. Yet our busy daily schedules make it very difficult to achieve mental clarity. The good news is that nootropic supplements can give you the boost you need. Neuro-Peak is one of them and is specially designed to help you achieve maximum mental performance.

It is a nootropic that claims:

  • Improve concentration and mental clarity.
  • Increase vigilance.
  • Stimulates positive mood.
  • Improve memory function.
  • Improve productivity.
  • Increase energy.
  • Decrease anxiety.

But how effective is it?

Is it worth consuming daily?

We tried to find out more in our full Neuro Peak review below.

Let’s get started.

Neuro-Peak is a supplement containing 6 scientifically proven ingredients designed to improve cognitive function.

It is made by Zhou Nutrition, a company based in the United States. You can find the ingredients on the bottle of this supplement. However, Zhou Nutrition does not provide a lot of information on the items.

Here is what we found out. Neuro-Peak contains the 6 best brain stimulants known for stress control and mental energy.

  • Bacopa Monnieri (20% Bacoside)
  • Quantity: 300mg
  • Vitamin B-12 (as cyanocobalamin)
  • Quantity: 500mcg
  • Vitamin B-12 is important for brain health.
  • Quantity: 100mg

Bacopa Monnieri is known as a multitasking brain nutrient. It promotes cerebral circulation, improves memory, enhances creativity and learning, and reduces stress. In addition, it is a powerful antioxidant that provides positive cognitive health. Various studies show that this herb improves memory function by stimulating neuronal dendritic growth and serotonin production. It is recommended that you take around 200-300 mg of this herb for the benefits. NeuroPeak seems to have taken this aspect into account. It plays an important role in cellular energy metabolism. It also helps maintain the size of the brain, supports neurotransmitters and helps in the formation of myelin.

However, there are concerns about the form of B12 used: cyanocobalamin, which turns into cyanide in the digestive system, which is quite difficult to absorb, especially as we age.

It also boosts mental energy, promotes better sleep and creates a sense of well-being.

Research shows that people who used Rhodiola Rosea had better immunity and responded well to nervous tension.

Phosphatidy lserine is one of the best nootropics known to improve memory. It improves the good circulation of neurotransmitters by keeping the cell membranes of the brain flexible and fluid. In addition, there is scientific evidence for its role in brain detoxification, cognitive performance, and brain energy metabolism by improving glucose metabolism. Phosphatidylserine stimulates the production of dopamine, the feel-good hormone, and prevents cognitive decline.

It is therefore perfect for the elderly.

Ginkgo biloba

Ginkgo Biloba is known to stimulate cerebral circulation.

This plant improves blood flow to the brain and therefore the supply of nutrients and oxygen. This leads to better cognitive function.

Dimethylaminoethanol (DMAE)

Quantity: 50mg

DMAE is cholinergic; it increases the availability of choline, which forms acetylcholine.

Acetylcholine helps the brain to function optimally by improving communication between brain cells.

Additionally, DMAE is known to increase focus, attention, and focus.

Is Neuro-Peak Right for You?

Neuro-Peak contains natural ingredients with some benefits for brain health. The whole formulation is built around three herbal extracts – Bacopa, Ginkgo Biloba, and Rhodiola Rosea -, all commonly used in natural brain supplements .

Bacopa Monnieri is widely promoted as a treatment for memory disorders, anxiety, and thyroid health.

A randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind trial study  with 92 participants concluded that Bacopa Monnieri might improve verbal learning, memory acquisition, and response rate.

Another clinical study  published in 2002 showed that Bacopa might improve knowledge retention. Seventy-six participants in the study showed improved retention levels when they were required to learn new information.

According to the researchers, this can be explained by Bacopa Monnieri extract’s antioxidant properties, which can significantly reduce memory loss.

Bacopa may also help with anxiety. One double‐blind, placebo‐controlled cross‐over study , published in Phytotherapy Research in 2013, evaluated the effects of a Bacopa extract in healthy participants engaging in multiple tasks.

Researchers found positive cognitive effects, some positive mood effects, and a reduction in cortisol levels in those taking Bacopa.

Rhodiola Rosea is another plant with a long history of use that stretches over hundreds of years. Vikings used Rhodiola to enhance mental and physical endurance.

Furthermore, this revered adaptogenic herb supports the adrenal glands’ functioning and helps your body cope with stress to handle life’s challenges.

By reducing fatigue, Rhodiola Rosea may support mood and reduce stress and anxiety.

In one clinical trial, D. Edwards, A. Heufelder, and A. Zimmermann concluded that Rhodiola extract might help individuals perform better in a social environment and at work by improving their mood and reducing fatigue.

In contrast, a randomized placebo-controlled trial  published in Phytomedicine in 2015 found that extracts of this herb may diminish symptoms of depression, but its effects were mild. Rhodiola did not reduce symptoms as efficiently as Sertraline, a prescription antidepressant, although it produced fewer and milder side effects.

DMAE (also known as dimethylethanolamine or dimethylaminoethanol) is a substance used as an ingredient in creams, lotions, and other skincare products. It is also available as an active ingredient in dietary supplements, primarily in supplements designed to support and improve brain health.

DMAE is hypothesized to help acetylcholine production (a chemical that helps nerve cells transmit signals). Since acetylcholine has such a crucial role in numerous cognitive functions, such as memory and learning, supporters believe that taking DMAE in supplement form may support brain health by raising acetylcholine levels .

Drugs that raise acetylcholine levels have been used to treat Alzheimer’s disease, so some studies have looked at DMAE as a potential Alzheimer’s treatment. So far, however, they’ve failed to show any promising results .

While DMAE is a frequent addition to many brain supplements, this practice is not backed by any relevant clinical research since there’s no evidence that oral DMAE supplements can treat ADHD, depression, anxiety, improve sports performance, or support cognitive function.

In a research  published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease in 2012, 242 people (all diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease) received either an oral DMAE extract known as V0191 or a placebo daily for six months.

At the study’s end, there was no noticeable difference in cognitive function between the two groups.

Ginkgo Biloba is typically used in the treatment or prevention of several health problems, including:

  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Dementia
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Fatigue

The herbal extract is said to support memory and help the recovery process after a stroke.

So far, studies testing Ginkgo Biloba’s effects against aging-related declines in brain health have yielded mixed results.

A review of studies  using the standardized Ginkgo Biloba extracts EGb 761 found the supplement more effective than placebo in most cases of vascular or mixed dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

The review was unable to identify a consistent benefit for using Ginkgo biloba to treat neuropsychiatric conditions.

Additional Neuro Peak Reviews

Here we cover what you need to know about Neuro Peak, how other people rate it, and how it stacks up against some competing nootropics online.

We take a look at …

Review of Neuro Peak Reddit

Reddit is one of the top sites we took a look at for more information on the Neuro Peak Brain Support Supplement user experience.

Although this is an important supplement, not much has been said about this nootropic. However, what we found was not flattering.

Look :

“‘Very poor ingredients. They use a poorly bioavailable form of B12, Bacopa Monnieri, Rhodiola, Ginkgo (who knows if they’re legitimate) unpatented and DMAE increases acetylcholine, which can make some people depressive and give them brain fog.

3/10. “

Whether or not this user tried Neuro Peak is unknown, but it is clear that he did not like the ingredients in this stack.

Neuro-Peak vs. Modafinil

Modafinil is many people’s first nootropic, and for a good reason. This synthetic nootropic is extremely potent and can give you up to 12 hours of productivity. It can boost your cognition, improve focus and heighten your ability to process information.

However, Modafinil cannot be used daily because of its potency. This drug is also meant to be used as a prescription drug to treat narcolepsy. This means that it can be tough to get it legally.

Neuro Peak is a much safer natural alternative that heightens focus and betters memory retention. But it lasts for only around 4 to 6 hours.

In short, Modafinil is the perfect nootropic to pull an all-nighter. It keeps you focused for around 12 hours at a stretch. Neuro Peak is a better nootropic for daily use.

Neuro Peak Vs Alpha Brain

Alpha Brain from Onnit Nutrition is one of the best nootropics on the market.

So how does it compare to Neuro Peak?

In terms of the actual ingredients, we have to give Alpha Brain, however, when it comes to dosages and prices, Neuro Peak wins.

Alpha Brain is filled with patented blends. This means that all the individual dosages of the main ingredients are hidden. Instead, they are grouped together under a larger strength called a “blend”. You don’t know how much you are getting of each individual ingredient or how effective it will actually be.

While Neuro Peak clearly lists the amount of each of its ingredients, which gives you a better idea of what to expect.

Alpha Brain is also way overpriced compared to Neuro Peak – almost 4x more. Alpha Brain costs $ 76 and up, while Neuro Peak costs just under $ 20.

We don’t think either of them is the best nootropic on the market, but if we had to choose one or the other, we would go for Neuro Peak.

Zhou Neuro Peak

At the end of our review, we conclude that this is a nootropic that could provide some serious improvement.

Make no mistake, there are some great ingredients that we love. Bacopa, Phosphatidylserine and Rhodiola Rosea are all ingredients that challenge us and promote general cognition.

However, DMAE and Ginkgo Biloba tarnish this staging.

We believe that Zhou should remove some of these ingredients and add others that have more scientific support.

It’s not the best option on the market, but it’s far from the worst.

Our current number 1:
